Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease that 1 out of every 29 Caucasian Americans have. True, it may be a symptom-less CF gene meaning it will not affect your health. But, if 2 symptom-less CF gene parents have a child; the child has a 25% chance of having this deadly disease. Many causes of this disease are a shut-down in lungs or digestive organs demanding the need for a transplant or death.
