This book is the amazing true story of Louis Zamperini's life and how he survived prison camps during WWII. Zamperini was an Olympic runner before he joined the service and although he had experienced some ups and downs, it was nothing like what he had to endure during the war. The story tells of his life after the war and how he was only freed once he was able to forgive.
