There's plenty of nice Squidoo lensmasters out there who try to be a part of this community and do the right thing. There's others who might think they're doing well, but are actually driving people away with harsh comments on forums and on lenses. So, in order to keep Squidoo a happy fun place to hang out and create useful stuff, I decided to write a guide to being the best community member you can be. Maybe with a focused effort the nice people around here can quickly make up for any nastiness. If we get in and make constructive criticism and advice early on then new users might have the support and friendship required to want to stick around. This is really important for keeping newbies!
