I was first introduced to Bela Fleck in 1992. My Humanities professor was involved with the Clearwater Jazz Festival in Clearwater, FL. We could earn extra credit for the course if we attended the festival. My grade was borderline so I decided to take him up on his offer. Little did I know I would become a jazz lover and a huge fan of Bela Fleck.
