Barbecued ribs are a classic American dish traditionally made in a smoker, or on the grill. But I'm always on the lookout for nontraditional ways to enjoy mouthwatering ribs. One method I like is the slow-cooked, fall-off-the-bone results that the crock pot delivers. Also, preparation is easy and you have time to cook other dishes while waiting for the crock pot to finish cooking. Your favorite potato salad, sweet corn-on-the-cob and baked beans go great with these ribs. And to round out a perfect feast, don't forget the cornbread and collard greens.
