Today we were Celebrating Quality Heroes at UNC Hospitals' 2009 Commitment to Caring Quality Expo. Each year employees of UNC Hospitals are encouraged to present posters describing Quality Improvement Processes used on their units to improve patient care and patient outcomes. I have participated in the expo for the past 2 years. My poster this year was Quality in the OR: Increased Responsibilities for the OR Nurse.
