If you are a child of the 80s, you probably remember wearing this awesometastic 'do. According to Urban Dictionary, the side ponytail was a hairstyle that was popular with girls in the late 1960s and again in the mid-1980s. Since I wasn't around during the 60s, I am focusing on how I saw the trend in the eighties.
