It's That Man Again was a popular BBC Radio Comedy show which ran from 1939-1949. During the war, it pulled in over 18 million viewers who tuned in each week to forget their troubles and laugh at the antics of Tommy Handley and his cronies. Listeners rushed home from work and meals were cut short, as people tuned in to forget the austerities of the war.
