From Full Moon to New Moon the moon we see each night changes throughout the month. As twilight fades and the moon rises we look up to see it's changing shape. The night of the new moon is very dark and if you live away from city lights you may find that it's nearly impossible to see without a flashlight. Each evening the moon appears lighter and lighter until it reaches it's full moon phase and appears as a complete circle of light. On the night of the Full Moon it is easy to see outside.Learning about the moon and it's phases is fascinating for all ages. It's nearly time for bed so it's time to learn about the Phases of the Moon....
