Hi, I'm Deb, a writer and Search & Rescue volunteer from Flagstaff, Arizona. I've been invited to spend three months in Nepal from May through July, 2010, to learn about the only rescue squad in the country and the many lives they've touched, so I can return home and write a book about them. Fifty percent of all book proceeds will be donated to the the Himalaya Rescue Dog Squad Nepal (HRDSN).In order to pay for my travel to, from, and within Nepal as well as equipment such as a laptop, a camera, and a voice recorder, and, after the trip, promotion of the book and the squad with slideshow events, I've set up a fundraising page on Kickstarter.com.
