There are some very famous cats who live in Key West, Florida. These pampered kitties are residents of the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum... all 50 or 60 of so of them. They are well cared for, and are said to be direct, traceable, descencents of Hemingway's own cat, Snowball, who lived in the house with him in the 1930's. And here's the clincher: half of these 50 - 60 cats are polydactyls.
